Hello Hello !

I'm in a bit of a situation and thought to try my luck here !

I started a business last year, we are steady but very much still growing. With a reduction to zero work during Covid lockdown and a few other set-backs we are having to cut costs as much as possible. The Business Tax Return is due in a few weeks and I really need the expertise of an accountant to file the return, there are some expenses that need to be included to claim and after much research I am still confused and unsure. Accounts are tidy and allocated into Xero.

I have approached a few accountants, and very much planned to use their services, though for this immediate tax return we just cannot take on the cost. My beautiful partner is a web developer and has kindly offered a website to help with my needs, another option is an exchange of services that I can offer (I have a few). If you are or know of an accountant (preferably chartered) who is interested in an exchange of services please send me a message to organise a conversation.

Hope everyone is recovering ok, it's not easy,

Thank you.

Kylie Klein Nixon Reporter from Homed

When I heard there would be changes to the consent rules around building sleep outs, I was excited. I've always wanted a tea house in my back yard... a garden room where I can do a bit of potting, maybe read a book, or just cool off in the shade.

Turns out it's not quite as simple as a trip to the hardware store to burn a hole in your credit card. If you're thinking of putting something up on your property, check in here first:

If you would love to learn to paint (or have some painting experience already) you will enjoy learning in the relaxed social atmosphere of the class. I have been teaching painting in oils and acrylics for 20 years now and I still love it. There's a sea and landscape image attached which is a reasonably large size or sets of smaller more painterly images to choose from. We are situated at the Haitaitai Bowling Club from 10-12noon on Sundays and the cost is $250 for eight weeks. Come along, you will love it! There's always coffee and music flowing and a happy, vibrant atmosphere. Call or text me on 0273 119 209. Niki.
