Helping Hand for the Elderly and/or Infirm

Glenn from Paraparaumu

Good morning Neighbours, my name is Glenn McIsaac. In these uncertain times we find ourselves in of late, some maybe wondering how to cope with running errands and how to source everyday items too.
If you need anything done away from home and are unable to leave or you need something picked up, or whatever, then PLEASE PLEASE do not hesitate to contact me on; 021 023-12550 and together we will sort out a solution. There will of course be no charge for this help, unless you’re in a position to give any food or product which will be handed over to the Kapiti Food Bank.
Thank you neighbours 🥰 and I mean it, please do not hesitate to contact me! I am free all weekend (now!) and after 4 generally during the week.
Otherwise good luck everyone and please let’s all keep an eye out for our elderly, infirm and housebound neighbours during these times ❤️

Decramastic Tiles?

Russell from Paraparaumu

Does anyone have any spare lengths of decramastic tiles kicking about the place? I need 2 or 3 lengths (5-tile sections). Black/charcoal colour preferred but I'll accept anything going.

Alternatively, does anyone know where to buy these?

Happy to collect from anywhere.

Weedeater $25.00

Russell from Paraparaumu

Ryobi "Scrub Hornet" weedeater RST2500QF.

I can't get it to go, and myself and mate who I'm selling on behalf of reckons it's the spark plug. I cleaned the plug but the gap is probably stuffed. He last had it going late last year as far as I know.

Comes with a tank full of fuel!

Collect from Paraparaumu.

George Floyd

Alan from Raumati Beach

These are the last words of George Floyd, a 46-year-old man who died as a US police officer pinned him down, kneeling on his neck for seven minutes, until he suffocated:
"It's my face man
I didn't do nothing serious man
please I can't breathe
please man
please somebody...
