🦮 💩💩💩

Toni from Kaiapoi

We all are enjoying walking around our neighborhood at the moment, it’s so nice to greet and be greeted by all the friendly faces in Mansfield Park neighborhood.
BUT!!!!!!!........Please, Please, Please, those of you with dogs could you pick up after them!!!!!
Left on the grass is one thing, but it dotted up the footpaths because you’ve dragged your dog whilst they are still doing their business is disgusting!
Have a little respect for your neighbors.
PICK IT UP!!

HeartKids Fundraiser

Roxanna from Hurunui District

Hello neighbours- this time last year we had a wonderful (albiet cold) day taking part in the annual street collection for HeartKids NZ. Maybe you were one of those lovely people who donated when we were out and about! Sadly due to COVID 19 we are unable to do a street collection this year- still families and babies like mine benefit so much from your help! If you would like to donate to our online fundraiser please follow the link below... Best Regards, Roxanna & baby Embrance heartcanterbury.raiseit.co.nz...

Show neighbours your photography snaps of Canterbury!

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Kia ora Canterbury, it's time to dust off that old camera, get out and about and show the rest of your neighbours your favourite, treasured spots in your region. It could be an awesome view, the shy wildlife or even the old buildings that are wanting their stories to be told.

Go ahead, get snapping and illustrate what's beyond your backyard.

Waimakariri council considers confiscating bins from repeat recycling offenders

Nicole Mathewson Reporter from Northern Outlook

Waimakariri ratepayers face having their wheelie bins confiscated if they continue to abuse the system.

The warning comes after three truckloads of recycling had to be dumped in landfill last week because of contamination.

Bags full of rubbish, soft plastics, dirty recycling and broken vacuum cleaners were among the assorted items thrown into household recycling bins across the district, despite calls for residents to get on board with changes to recycling.
