WHAT TO DO YOU THINK OF THIS?

RAYMOND from Tawa

The landlord had given due notice to the tenants, before the new laws came into effect.

But the new laws mean he cannot have his own house but pay for temporary accomodation.

Isn't this a case of applying a new law retrospectively?

We mow lawns, do garden tidies, hedges, pruning and weed spraying, can take away green waste. If you would like to get your gardens under control or even keep them looking good on a regular basis after your hard work in them through lockdown we would love to be able to help.
We can also supply you with contactless service and quotes.

Now that we're almost back into Level 2, it's important to recognise a couple of things:

For restaurants, gyms, schools or office buildings that have been closed during the lockdown, water that has been sitting in your pipes is likely to have changed quality.

In order to offset the implications of Water Stagnation, make sure you flush water through all points of use within your building before reopening.

For more information, check out this document from Building Performance, and make sure to share this with someone that needs to know!

With more people returning to work and school in Level 2, we wanted to remind people that since water hasn't been running as frequently through the taps, it's a good idea to run your taps to flush out the system when you return to work.

When left alone in your pipework for an extended period, water can become stagnant and while it's still safe to drink, it may taste unpleasant, so it’s a good idea to run the tap for a while to make sure you have fresh drinking water.
