With many empty offices and buildings during lockdown, water hasn't been running as frequently through the taps. When you return to your workplace, it's a good idea to run your taps to flush out the system.

When left alone in your pipework for an extended period, water can become stagnant and while it's still safe to drink, it may taste unpleasant, so it’s a good idea to run the tap for a while to make sure you have fresh drinking water.

How to permanently remove spam - How to report spam – AND this works

I use AOL as my email – so you may well have improvise my terminology for other hosts.

Open the email
go to: MORE
go to: Open message source
Search for: “Return-Path”
Now open a new window: and follow/type in www.whois.net...

For example: Info from this web site has been targeting me for a few days return@pipat.website
I type in pipat.website
And I get www.whois.com...
So, when I read down the page I see: abuse@namecheap.com
+++++++++++++++++++++++
I then send abuse@namecheap.com or who ever the host is (they always/should have an abuse/spam email for you to copy.
I then send (select Forward on the original spam email) with ALL of the “Return Path” copied information on it, asking for the host to stop the spam to me. Often I will get a response from the host ie in this case namecheap.

Vigilance and tenancy IS required. Some times these spammers use several endings ie .com .net etc.
It is actually illegal for spammers – and the host is legally bound to block these emails from your name – at the least.

It really does work. I went into my UK account this morning (that I have had since inception 25+ years) and as I haven’t kept this email ‘clean’ I was presented with some thirty spam from just a few days.

Sound tedious – but once you get the hang it – although a B nuisance it does solve the problem. Good luck.

What messages are popping up in your neighbourhood?

Katie Townshend Reporter from Dominion Post

In these trying times, it's great to see the messages popping up in windows and on fences around Wellington. What signs have you spotted? Share a photo in the comments so we can all see!

Cut and display: Show your support this Anzac Day

Katie Townshend Reporter from Dominion Post

On Saturday we can't mark Anzac Day by standing shoulder-to-shoulder at dawn. But even apart we can stand together and honour those who fought for us. Dear Wellington - ANZAC Day will look a little different for us this year - however there are many ways for you to acknowledge the incredible men and women who have served our communities and given their lives for our country.

We invite you to share a memory or photo to commemorate this special day on Neighbourly below. It could be a story of a member in your family who served - or perhaps the way you and your family celebrate ANZAC Day each year. (It might even be a photo of your freshly baked can't be-beaten ANZAC cookies).

We also invite you to take part in Stand at Dawn and join us at 6:00 am on Saturday 25 April. Stand at your letterbox, at the front door, in your lounge rooms, balconies, in your driveway. Wherever you are in the world, stand with us and take a moment to remember our fallen – but please stay within your ‘bubble’.

ANZAC Day will be marked a little differently this year. We’ll be warm and cosy at home and The Last Post won’t start until you press play. But one thing will be the same – remembrance.

To help us remember those who served and understand what ‘to serve’ meant, Ryman recorded their ANZAC resident’s stories. Some are humorous, others are tragic and eye-opening, but they all offer insight into the courage, bravery, and determination required to serve.

What better way to remember than to read the memories of those who were there?
