Spring has sprung and now is about the time of year that Swimming Pool owners will be about to dust off the pool covers, and start thinking about getting the swimming pool back to optimum condition for the first real swim day – which going by the weather of late should not be too far away.
There are probably a couple of things you should do before chemically balancing your pool, and one of the first things you should consider doing is sanitising your pool filter. This is an easy task, and can be completed overnight. The second thing you should do, after sanitising your filter, is to give your pool a ‘shock’, using a trusted oxidiser like BioGuard Burnout Extreme or BioGuard Power Chlor.
Once you’ve completed those steps, bring a ½ litre water sample to Wright Pools and Spas and we will test your water and talk you through the right chemicals for your pool and size. It’s important that you are able to tell us the pool volume (Length, x Width x Av Depth) so that you are not over-dosing or under-dosing your swimming pool.
With 3 stores in the greater Wellington region, Wright Pools and Spas is the largest supplier of BioGuard Pool and Spa Chemicals. With a wet-lab on site, we are able to test your water in quick time and provide the right advice from our experienced team.
Pop into your local Wright Pools and Spas store at:
18 Kapiti Rd, PARAPARAUMU
403 High Street, LOWER HUTT
156 High Street North, CARTERTON

I'm just curious, is it only my posts getting taken down that are relating to 5G or are other people finding this too?? Thanks
Hi, fellow Kapiti community,
Hope you are all safe in your own bubbles and being stuck at home is not as bad as most of us first thought.
Throughout this lockdown you have probably had more time to spend with the family that our normal busy lives wouldn’t allow as much, and also time to do that list of chores and jobs around the house such as gardening, clearing out the garage and sorting out the old rubbish you never got the time to sort through.
Once the lockdown is lifted and we will go back to or busy lives which will be extra busy with trying to catch up on the back log throughout the lockdown, so if you have been busy in the garden or sorting out your old rubbish then call That Trailer Guy on 027-8724537 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org to book a time/day slot to come and pick your greenwaste and rubbish up and take to the tip, also picking up the large on-line purchases, whilst you catch up with your work life once we are back to normal.
Bookings are now being taken on a first come first served basis, once we allowed to commence.
Be good and Stay Safe
