Marfell - Old and new photos

Charles from Lynmouth - Moturoa

I think most parts of Marfell are quite presentable but the current re-development area was ripe for urban renewal. The new road into the development will certainly enhance. I hope all the other roads around area will be re-built to the same standard.

Hopefully OK if sold privately but if they end as rental units I fear for future. New road progressing. Curb and channel in but no sealing yet. Lot of work still to do so hard to see any units being available soon. Note no carports or garages at moment so that appears short sighted although there is possibly room at front of lots. Will watch with interest.

Gone are the days of getting one qualification out of school to see you through your working life. Now, upskilling, online courses and on-the-job training are all part of making your way up the career ladder.

We want to talk to people who have completed micro-credentials, bitesize qualifications for specific skills.

Perhaps you've pieced together a full qualification by doing online courses, or maybe you've taken a workshop rather than investing in a six-month course. We'd love to hear from you - email josephine.franks@stuff.co.nz
