There are many, and a few more people who are moving to working on line, either people who went to work each day or our students who could be soon working online, here is a word of caution.

The scammers are already at work.

Do please watch out for emails asking for log on requests, the email may look like it's legitimate and from the real source but hover your mouse at the From Address and this may show a very different source.
Some emails may ask you to log in but be cautious, most companies like your bank, Microsoft, Amazon and others would never normally send you an email to ask you to log in again, Think! the email looks real....

The best precautions are, if available is to use a two factor way of a log in, one online and then send a code to your personal phone, and in that way you know its verified and then use the code sent.

Please take care, if you have questions and are not sure, post your concerns here and I am sure as a community we can help. David.

Demand is still tracking pretty high for this time of year – just look at the level of demand this year compared to the past two years!*

Supply from rivers in Wainuiomata has dropped out, and now we’re using a lot more water from our storage lakes.

Lake usage has averaged about 41MLD over the last week, and levels have dropped 9% in the last week.

Catchments are still very dry, and there isn’t much rain on the forecast! Please continue to observe water restrictions until they come off, and of course, always use water wisely.

*These graphs indicate demand in Porirua, Wellington, Lower Hutt, and Upper Hutt.
