Upcycling is the term used for taking a preloved item and transforming it - whether it's for a new purpose altogether, or just to give it an ‘extreme makeover'. Consider using the school holidays to get Upcycling with the smaller members of your household - or use the next rainy day to drag out the paint and your creativity!

Nov 2017 Gelding
TB x Appaloosa
Est 15-15.2hh

Great to tie doesn't pull back
Easy to cover
Easy to catch he's first to the gate
Easy to worm and check mouth

Good to pick up/trim hooves but can be impatient (just needs more handling)
Minimal float experience but walks on with encouragement and just stands there so won't take much practice.

Happy to be taken away from other horses

Hasnt had much experience with stock.

Loves attention and eager for something to do. Unfortunately I am not in the position to give this to him and its unfair to have him sit in the paddock any longer.

This is an opportunity for someone to start a great relationship with a blank canvas.

Experienced home a must. 2k
Located Springfield, Canterbury

Price: $2,000

This National Volunteer Week, we’re recognising all the amazing volunteers who form the backbone of emergency response in Aotearoa and support their communites every day.
THANK YOU, VOLUNTEERS!
When Aotearoa faces challenging times, Kiwis always step up to support people in need. Volunteers are instrumental in ensuring that we get through, together.

“Every day, a network of 11,000 Red Cross volunteers and members across the country help us respond to disasters, settle new Kiwis, help run our shops, deliver Meals on Wheels, teach former refugees how to drive, sew curtains for families in need, and so much more. Last financial year, Red Cross volunteers gave close to 120,000 hours of their time. They are the hands and feet of almost everything we accomplish,” says Niamh Lawless, our Secretary General.
