We know that the Wairarapa is a great escape so we’re giving our next door neighbours the chance to WIN in our GREAT WAIRARAPA ESCAPE competition. Being so close those living in our neighbouring regions can make a short trip and get a big change of scene by coming to the Wairarapa.
NICE!

Our team at Wellington Seamarket has started doing contactless home deliveries for fresh fish and frozen seafood products.

If you would like to get some fresh fish for dinner tomorrow night you can order here.

Our fish comes in daily from fishermen around Wellington and collaborators around the country (such as Barnes Wild Oyster for Bluff Oysters).

Our goal is to get the fish prepared and delivered to your door within 24 hours of it hitting the deck!

We deliver Monday to Friday, and cover the bottom half of the North Island (Wellington to Palmerston North).

The masked investigators

The Team from Wellington Water

200 meters off-road a stormwater sump overflows and makes a public walking track impassable.

A call goes out.

That call is answered. Tools are carried into the hills of Belmont, the sump cleared of blocked silt, and the track made safe again.

The masked investigators strike again.

If you were one those who turned to baking to get through lockdown - and even if you weren't! - thought I'd kick off by sharing the two most popular recipes on Stuff during those seven weeks: pull-apart hot cross bun bread, a recipe from Nicola Galloway, and cheese straws, a recipe from Sam Mannering.
