Grace passed away early Tuesday, aged 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Eric, and loved mother of Kaye and Harvey Dunlop, Wendy and John Frechtling. Grandmother of Jane, Luke, Blake, Elle and Adnan; Sebastian and Maynard. Great-Grandma Grace to Rumi, Ariana and Arlo. A private service will be held for Grace.

CALVIN, John Anthony (Jack)

(Reg. No. 35019, Lieutenant, WWII Veteran 1939-1945, served in 8th Army – Fiji, Egypt, Italy, 4th and 6th RMT, New Zealand Division.) (Born Preston, Lancashire, England). On Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Charles Upham Retirement Village, Rangiora, aged 101 years. Dearly loved and respected husband of the late Nola, and Margaret, father and father-in-law of Jill and Alastair, John and Philipa, and Roger, and stepfather of Sherrin. Loved brother of Peggy, and Richard. Sadly missed grandfather of Nicola, Andrew, Holly, Ben, Sam, Tom, Sophie, Grace, and Oliver, great-grandfather of Juliet, George, Harry, Archer, Miller, and Leo.
His courageous and creative spirit will be sadly missed.
The Funeral Service for John will be held in the Westpark Chapel, 467 Wairakei Road, Burnside, Christchurch, on Monday, July 23, at 10.00am. Private cremation thereafter.

Died age 23 years on July 18, 2018. Loved son of Glenda and Lester Brewer, brothers and partners Shane and Claire, and Mark and Tracy, grandson of Dorothy (Nan) and Vic (Pop) (deceased) Brewer, John (Grandad) and Margaret (Nana) Harrison. Loved nephew of Robert and Dina Brewer, Jocelyn Brewer (deceased) and Kevin Sheppard, Steve and Gail Harrison and Ken Harrison. Also loved by many cousins and friends.

On July 19, 2018, peacefully at Aberleigh Village Rest Home, in his 92nd year. Dearly loved husband of Mavis. Loved father and father-in-law of Brenda and Gary; Cheryl and Ricky; Vicky and Tony; Kevin and Rana. Loved step-dad of Neville and Sue; Jennifer; and Christine. Of Palmerston North, peacefully with his daughters at his side, on July 19, 2018. Aged 92 years. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Jan and Lindsay Giles; and Lynne Stephenson, and the greatest cherished Grandad. Tom will be sadly missed by his Methodist family and Manawatu Dance Club. Generous of heart to all she knew, independently living at home amidst her glorious garden. Died on July 18, 2018, at Gracelands Rest Home. Aged 79 years. Val was truly loved and adored by her late husband Derek, and her children Philip, Kathryn, Michelle (all deceased), Richard and their families. She will be missed by her grandsons, Thomas, Hamish and Archie. Dearly loved by her sisters Marlene and Pam.
