Loved by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Long time bird fancier. Many thanks to Brylyn Resthome for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice Waikato. Peacefully on Sunday, November 18, 2018, at Timaru Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Dearly loved wife and soulmate of Winston. Adored mother and mother-in-law of Christopher and Dianne (Australia), Nicola and Stan van Heeswyck (Timaru), Karen Williams (Timaru), and the late Andrew. Cherished Nana of Joshua, Amber, Natasha, Stacey, Benjamin, Kaitlin, and Abbey and Great-Nan of Baxter, Elise, and Maddox. Loving sister of Janet, Marie and Bev, and sister-in-law, aunty and friend to so many. A service to celebrate Betty’s life will be held at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, 160 Mountain View Road, Timaru, on Monday, November 26 at 1.00pm, followed by interment at Timaru Cemetery. After a long illness, Karen (Kas) passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on 17th November 2018, aged 86. Cherished wife for 64 years of James (Jim). Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Michael, Bruce and Shelley, Colin and Sue, Lynne and Kris, and Mary. Treasured grandmother of 9 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Ruby was a much loved wife of Don, Mum to Wayne, Trevor, Sharon, Margot, and Rikki, and treasured Nanny to Josie, and Francesca; Jason, and Jenna; Laura; Phillip, Kerry, Brendan, and Nathan. QUIRK, Raewyn Meggan

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we advise that Raewyn passed away peacefully at Taranaki Base Hospital on Monday 19th November 2018, after a “well fought battle”. Raewyn was Mike’s loved wife and soul mate. She was a dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Todd and Rose Quirk (Queenstown), and Meggan Quirk (Hawera). She was a loved and loving sister and sister-in-law of Maggie and Warren Anderson (Blenheim), Graeme and Kathy Booth (Levin), Jan and Fred Weinberger (Hawera), and Trish Quirk (New Plymouth). Loved ‘awsum’ Granny of Sam, Lucas; and Trixie. Raewyn was a loved and fun aunt of her nieces and nephews, and a ‘kool’ great-aunt to match!
