A major project to improve Christchurch’s quake-damaged roads will be fast-tracked after city councillors were left fuming by news that repairs might not start for at least 12 months.

The Government handed $40 million to the council just before the coronavirus lockdown in March to revamp scores of the city’s worst streets and overhaul accident blackspots.

In this very special cooking class, you will make several recipes for your dog using human-grade ingredients that you can use as a ‘topper’ for their regular dog food; we’ll make dog treats, too. You’ll come home with everything you’ve made plus the recipes and other resource notes.

We’ll discuss diets in general, my support for the semi-homemade diet, and the challenges of feeding a truly balanced diet when relying on home cooking alone. $89 per person for the class including all ingredients and containers, except meats of approximately $30 (a list of meat ingredients will be issued to you before the class). Bring an apron (optional) and a carry bag is recommended to take your items home. Sorry, your dog needs to stay home for this workshop as dogs are not allowed on school property.

Venue is Papanui High School.Saturday, 29th August 2020 from 9 am to 12:30 pm Bookings required.
