Do you know someone who hasn't handed in their prohibited firearms yet? Police have taken in more than 2500 from Marlborough, Nelson and West Coast, but the amnesty period ends on December 20, and after that illegal firearm owners could be prosecuted.

We’re looking for people in Marlborough who can volunteer an hour (or more) to hold a collection bucket for Orphans Aid.⁠
