Who is stopping you from success?

In an ideal world everyone we come across during our lifetime would be supportive of our goals, dreams, happiness and fulfillment.

In this real world however the opposite is often the case. People who, for any number of reasons, may have tried to hinder you from achieving what you wanted at times in your life and seem to make it their business to stop you. Note: they may not even know they are doing it.

The vast majority of people who interact with you are not bad people.

They may mean well, they may not intend to harm you, they may not even realise that they are being a stopper in your life. But the honest truth is that they have not walked in your shoes and don't have your goals, dreams and desires in their heart.

Take a moment to reflect on this.

There may be one or many. They may be family members, a spouse, parents, boss, coworker, friend or rival. Quite possibly there may have been one or more individuals that reoccurs throughout the years that acted like stoppers to you.

Are you stopping you from progressing?

Make a commitment to yourself that you will not let the stoppers you encounter hinder your progress. The change you encounter from this promise to yourself maybe the magic that you need to achieve your goals.

Wishing you every success.

St John staff in hazmat suits help three people into ambulance🚑

Fiona from Henderson

If the case did not meet the definition for coronavirus (Covid-19), then why were the St Johns crew all in hazmat suits?
Did they suspect it was upon picking up the patients and later it was confirmed to be not the case or was it something else going on?
Are we or are we not going to far?

According to NSW Health advice, people are now at risk of catching the virus if they spend a quarter of an hour in close contact, such as a face-to-face conversation, or two hours in the same confined space with an infected person. And now Chinese health authorities have confirmed that, contrary to earlier belief, patients are contagious even before they develop symptoms. This means that potentially thousands of people could have been exposed to the coronavirus in Australia by the country's nine confirmed patients alone.
=======================================
No New Zealand patients have been diagnosed and there are no suspected cases, according to the Ministry of Health.
=======================================
Four people in Sydney, three in Melbourne and two on the Gold Coast have contracted the deadly virus in recent weeks. NSW Health has so far tested 50 people that have returned negative results, and 20 more are under investigation. In Queensland 44 people are being tested. At least a day passed after they arrived before they developed flu-like symptoms and went to hospital. So far it is believed to be spread by a droplet in a cough or a sneeze, similar to how influenza is passed on. "Coronavirus may not be the easiest infection to get but it can be transmitted in several ways," he said. It could also be spread via contaminated surfaces if someone touches their nose or mouth after touching a surface that has been coughed or sneezed on by an infected person.
The disease has killed 170 people and infected more than 7500 in China.

Just putting a quick post saying that I may not be using this "Neighbourly" platform as much as I used to now. I will still use this though to message individuals my views on certain worldly topics which I will not name because of the "guidelines" here. I will joining up with other believers in Jesus on this site more on christianchat.com...

I hope that everything goes alright with everyone else. If anyone wants to post me things individually, make sure you don't post anything rude or harshly on them otherwise I will just delete them. I love all of you as a brother in Christ. I pray that our nation will work out our differences, having this forum a more open minded where we can discuss such views which I can't discuss because of the "guideline" on Neighbourly.

I wish everyone a happy 2020 and pray that many will come to Christ before he returns.

Matt
