Hi Neighbours, I just want to put a post up as a warning to all dog owners who walk their dogs at Madills Farm Reserve, there is a Caucasian male at the park, mid to late 60's, slightly overweight, in black shorts, black t-shirt with fluro pink writing on it aggressively going after people with dogs off the lead. I was down there with my 2 year old and my 10 month old walking with my dog as I do everyday. My dog ran past the man and he started going after my dog aggressively yelling at it and throwing his arms at my dog trying to kick it, causing my dog to react and bark but she was scared more then anything, I told the man to calm down and stop going after my dog and then he pulled his phone out and started to film me and my children yelling at me that dogs aren't allowed off lead. I kept asking him to leave me alone and stop harassing me, and that I had 2 small children and he was scaring them, it was NOT appropriate (at this point the older lady who was with him ran away..I am assuming in embarrassment). I walked away as fast as I could with my children, he then proceeded to go after another gentleman with a dog, this became heated, the poor other gentleman was just minding his own with his dog! The man then ran across the park to aggressively attack me again, luckily another family came to my rescue and the other gentleman, we all were telling him to leave us alone and go somewhere else, we all had small children and he was frightening them! The aggressive man filmed it all and said he was going to go to the police, not sure on what grounds. I just wanted to warn everyone there is a man who is clearly unwell at the park harassing anyone with a dog, and my 2 year old is really upset from the whole ordeal, and I can imagine the other family with 2 small children will be feeling the same. So upsetting at a time when we should be kind to one another. Please if you see this man just ignore him, but I was so grateful to the family and the lovely gentleman who came to my rescue, thank you.
