He says it's disgraceful and carries on with a tirade of abuse just like Mr Bridges. There is no remedy or helpful suggestion of how to guarantee that people perform properly. Would Mr Muller go and stand behind the man at the hotel door. Would he send his health minister with a testing kit to meet people off the aeroplane. Would Mr Muller have set up training courses for all the lay people involved at border control and with testing.
Let me suggest the most likely outcome if Mr Muller was PM.
If Mr Muller was PM the National government would have written a very similar set of rules for border control and testing. He would be in the same position as this government with the same expectation that the same front line staff would do their job properly. Neither he nor his ministers would expect the failures we have seen and which no one accepts should happen. I see no evidence at all, nor the possibility that National would have managed covid-10 any better than this government.
I also believe the NZ public are not stupid. They do not appreciate an opposition that can only offer criticism with hind sight and in the face of world wide acclaim of our success to date. We do not see any merit in using this pandemic as a political football which will inevitably see mistakes made and always be open to criticism with hind sight.
Please, Mr Muller, if you want to win this election make some worthwhile helpful suggestions rather than puerile abuse. Alternatively go down to the airport or hotel and do the job properly yourself. Show them how. Let us see some real leadership and an example of your perfection. Nothing but criticism is an extremely poor example of leadership.

So called "News Media" is too often just a political platform.

Everyone really should know where the interests lie in our media outlets and who we are listening to. This Stuff platform is in NZ interests even with its somewhat PC attitude! But let's look at something not quite so NZ. MediaWorks New Zealand is a New Zealand-based television, radio and interactive media company entirely owned by U.S. company Oaktree Capital Management, according to Wikipedia. So is it any wonder that we hear, if you ever listen or watch, the incessant denigration of our PM and the government. Just bear in mind when you watch the daytime TV3 or listen to so called RadioMagic, where their interests lie. They lie all right, they even swear at you. Listen by all means but may I suggest you don't swallow their incessant political indoctrination or adopt their manners. We are not America.

Here's how a passive revolution and building code changes could help our health - and the climate.

This National Volunteer Week, we’re recognising all the amazing volunteers who form the backbone of emergency response in Aotearoa and support their communites every day.
THANK YOU, VOLUNTEERS!
When Aotearoa faces challenging times, Kiwis always step up to support people in need. Volunteers are instrumental in ensuring that we get through, together.

“Every day, a network of 11,000 Red Cross volunteers and members across the country help us respond to disasters, settle new Kiwis, help run our shops, deliver Meals on Wheels, teach former refugees how to drive, sew curtains for families in need, and so much more. Last financial year, Red Cross volunteers gave close to 120,000 hours of their time. They are the hands and feet of almost everything we accomplish,” says Niamh Lawless, our Secretary General.
