Appreciation post

The Team from Counties Manukau Police

Thank you to all our essential service workers working tirelessly to ensure our communities are kept safe.

Issac is 81years old and was observed by a member of the public struggling to walk to the supermarket. A quick interaction with Isaac revealed he was in need of some intervention.

Community Constable Reuben Boniface ?‍♂️ was able to connect Issac with Age Concern Southland and with their assistance provide a care package of cooked meals and loaves of bread to help him through this time ? #kindnessgoesalongway

Tell us about the coronavirus lockdown champions in your community

The Team Reporter from Stuff

Hey neighbours,

We want to celebrate the unsung heroes who are keeping our country going through lockdown.

Frontline nurse Debra Larsen's life has turned into a "real whirlwind" since the coronavirus outbreak began.

She's been so busy setting up testing centres around the Waikato. and helping them run smoothly that she's barely seen her two teenage daughters.

Do you know a coronavirus lockdown champion who deserves to be recognised? Tell us about them in the comments below.

veg shop

Salima from Goodwood Heights

i went from Papatoetoe to manurewa and found only one very expensive shop open in manukau, near the event centre.  do you know of any other shop. yesterday 20 people were outside so I did not wait to go in. what a problem. what is happening to all the fruit and vegetable that grows in this country if shops are closed.
