NZ natural honey harvested with love - Must Bee Mad

Melanie from Mount Eden

Helping out my aunt and uncle who have lovingly harvested four types of honey this year from across the Bay of Plenty and neighbouring regions.

500g: Pasture $10, Clover $10, Pohutukawa $10, and Manuka MGO83+ $25. The honeys are pure, natural and unpasteurised so they keep their nutritional and health magic.

It's really been quite tough over the past year for humble beekeepers like them. There are 1-3 big honey companies that dominate the market here and offer a poor wholesale price for their stock (even though retail prices in NZ and globally are sky rocketing).

They also have barrels if you are an interested wholesaler.

Flick me a private message if interested in any of this. I can make deliveries around the Mt Eden area or put you in touch with Aunty Di. The farm is in Katikati, 30mins before Tauranga.

Pride Parade Bans Uniformed Police

Ray from Grey Lynn

Hi Neighbours and Friends

I was really surprised when I heard that the Pride Parade were banning police in uniforms from their yearly parade down Ponsonby Road.

This didn't sound to me like a Parade which promoted inclusion, unity and diversity.

What do people think about this?

What do people think about this?

Rather than just talk and complain, I wrote to the NZ Herald and contacted the organisers.

If you want to let the Pride Parade know that you support the NZ Police and don't want them excluded from their yearly event, here are the (publically available) contact details:

Hi neighbours,

Get ready, there's a new transport option in town! Following the hype around electric scooters, electric mopeds are now hitting the streets. To read more, click here.

Kwikli – a New Zealand-owned e-moped ride-sharing service – have launched in the North Shore suburbs of Takapuna and Devonport and are expected to be rolled out across the Auckland region over the next few months.

It costs $2 to unlock a vehicle (using a phone app) and 35 cents for every minute of riding.

Is this something you'd like to try? Will the moped's help you navigate your city easier? Is hiring a moped a cheaper option for you compared to driving and parking in the city? Let us know your thoughts in the replies below!
