Mountaineering equipment and clothes

Stephanie from Ellerslie

Hello lovely neighbours.
My dad is going on a mountaineering expedition later this year and is looking for mountaineering equipment and clothes (suitable for -10 to -20 C). Does anybody have appropriate gear or clothing to sell or give away?
Cheers,
Stephanie

Shopping

Adele from Onehunga

Exciting news! This weekend at PAK’nSAVE Royal Oak we’re trialling a new virtual ‘check-in’ to improve your comfort and safety. It’s really simple:
See the signs outside the store and text in our unique code to secure your place in line
We’ll confirm your place in line via text, so you can wait somewhere more comfortable, in your car or maybe somewhere else nearby.
Once it’s your turn to shop you’ll get another text from us, just be sure you get to store within 10 minutes so you don’t lose your spot!
Show your text confirmation to our staff on entrance and then start your shop.

Just be sure to remember your 2m physical distancing, use contactless payments where possible, and please #bekind.

Daylight saving maintenance job

Robert from Exceed - We fix windows & doors

This month’s Tip from Exceed
Day light saving starts today (Sunday 5th) and it’s a good time to do a twice yearly maintenance check on your windows.
Go around and open and close all your windows. Open them fully to the stops and make sure they move freely and seal completely at the top and bottom. If they are stiff, a spray with any spray lube (except the red CRC) on all the pivot joints will help.

Note- if your windows are very stiff don’t force them or you could break them.

Any questions drop me an e mail at robert@exceed.co.nz

We have been classed as an essential service by the New Zealand Government and are authorised to carry out URGENT security and safety related work (broken door lock, broken window latch, and/or any other urgent work required to secure premises) during the Covid-19 Level 4 Alert lock-down period.

Stay in your bubble & I’ll stay in mine, but I’ll do my best to help you via on line means robert@exceed.co.nz
