A reminder that tomorrow (Tuesday, 12th September), is our Open Evening. Join us to see the excellent education available for boys and girls in Years 7-10. With no zone, free uniform and stationery and no donations, Middle School West Auckland removes barriers to learning and offers success for all students (of all abilities). Split across two campuses in Henderson, West Auckland, the school has a strong academic focus and keeps class sizes small (no larger than 15 students per class). In addition, students are grouped into villas of 60 students each overseen by an experienced Academic Manager who monitors the child's progress and assists in personalizing the curriculum to their personal needs. Community Liaison Managers work with students, families and communities to ensure learning is fully supported. For those wishing to incorporate Te Ao Maori into their child's education, our Te Reo bilingual immersion unit, Pohutukawa Villa, is an ideal choice. Come along and meet our expert educators and see how we can help your child excel. Join us at our largest campus, Jack Ralston House, at 287-289 Lincoln Road, on Tuesday, September 12th, anytime between 5-7pm. With everyone staying home, it’s now more important than ever for everyone to be fire-safe. People can find information on our website - fireandemergency.nz...
We’re heading into winter, and with households self-isolating together, there’ll be more cooking at home, and more use of open fires, heaters, and dryers - all things which can increase fire risk.
New Zealanders can be confident that Fire and Emergency is well-prepared and ready to respond to emergencies as usual during the nationwide self- isolation period.
Please call 111 if you have a fire, we will ask you whether anyone at the address is self-isolating or has a confirmed case of COVID-19. Where this is the case, we already have necessary measures in place to ensure everyone’s safety including protective clothing, gloves, masks, safety glasses and mask.
We spoke a family member over in The Netherlands and we were left flabbergasted that they haven't shut their borders.
They have 8,647 confirmed cases and 546 deaths. What does it take for them to wake the heck up?
Their neighbours Belgium have:
7,284 confirmed & 289 deaths
50,871 confirmed & 351 deaths.
The total recovered for each country are:
Belgium & Germany have both closed their borders.
Where as Netherlands have gone soft and only closed their borders for non-eu travelers - WTH???
At this rate, this vile virus is never going to go away!!!
Here is an EXCELLENT link to watch how things are progressing worldwide in real time.
Who the heck is setting off fireworks tonight.
For crying out loud STOP IT!!!!
