12 September 2019, aged 42 years. Beautiful daughter of the late George Ford and Ere Ford. Beloved sister of Hellen, Moeroa, the late Ethel, Mareta, Miimetua, George, Julian and Balaam. Dearly loved wife of Taua for 15 years. Much loved mum of Aybal and Ezykiel. A Family Service to celebrate Orapa’s life will be held on Friday

Formerly Simpson, Lynch. Passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019, at Palmerston Manor, Palmerston North, surrounded by her family, aged 85 years young. (Formerly of Putiki Vicarage, Whanganui). Much loved mum of Rebecca, John, Willy, Nick, Rayleen and Bruce. Treasured mother-in-law, nan, great-nan, great-great-nan; loved and respected aunty, cousin, and friend to so so many. Our Kuia is laying at Parewahawaha Marae, Bulls. A service for mum will be held on Friday, September 20, at 11.00am. After the service we will journey mum to Kelvin Grove Cemetery, Palmerston North, for a burial service and then return to Parewahawaha for hakari .

Loving Nana to all her grand and great-grandchildren. A service to farewell and remember Pat’s life will be held on Saturday 21st September in the Hamilton Park Crematorium Chapel, Morrinsville Road, Newstead, Hamilton, at 11.00am. On 17 September 2019 at St Joan’s Rest Home, Hamilton, aged 75, Colleen passed away peacefully after enjoying her morning ciggy. Dearly loved wife of the late Murray. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Lynne and John, Nana Coll to Elle, Rowan, Veronica and Cameron, step-Nana Coll to John and Alicia. Loved by her great-grandchildren Maddi and Ozzy. LAWSON, Paul

Former Sumner Lifeboat Coxswain and President - Crossing the bar for the final time. A lifeboat legend, his contribution over 21 years with Sumner Lifeboat Institution and Coastguard New Zealand were huge and he will be missed by us all.
His lifeboat legacy lives on
He was instrumental in the design of the Sumner Class lifeboat, adopted in the Sumner, Bluff and North Canterbury units and he brought about the transition to a full jet lifeboat vessel fleet at Sumner. From all the Crew and Management of the Sumner Lifeboat.
